Tag Book
This tag book was made with toilet paper rolls and then let your imagination go!

Supplies you will need:
3 Toilet paper rolls (empty) Note: you can also use paper towel,
gift wrap etc. rolls though you may have to adjust the length of the paper
Paper
Adhesives
hole punch
eyelets (optional)
2 book rings (the kind that open and close)
glue
any embellishments you would like
ribbon
optional items you could use in "Examples" below.

Step 1:
Smash your rolls flat. I have found that paper packs and
books work good. It usually takes about 1-2 hours to get them really flat, so they will stay. If you are using any roll longer than toilet paper roll you will need to cut them.

Step 2:
In my books I used 2 of one pattern and then a complimenting
pattern for the middle roll. Cut your paper to fit your roll. In this example I use a paper towel roll cut in half. My paper was cut at 5 1/2" x 6". Cut 3 of these.

Step 3: Glue each of the papers onto each of the 3 rolls. I like to use spray glue l for a nice secure fit. Any strong adhesive will work for this, you just need a strong hold.
*Note if using the spray glue, spray lightly. The glue will soak
through the paper.

Step 4:
Punch 2 holes on one end of one roll, evenly spaced apart. About 1/4" up from bottom edge. Use the first roll you do as a guide for the other 2 rolls so that all your holes will line up.

Step 5:
If you are using eyelets then put them in the holes of each of the 3 rolls. Making sure the eyelet is facing on the side that does not have the overlap of the paper.
*Note Make sure that your rings can fit through the eyelets.

Step 5:
The fun part!
Decorate your rolls any way you wish, having lots of fun!

Step 6:
Put rings in the holes and close.
Make sure that all your decorated sides are facing the same way.

Step 7:
Take your ribbon and tie it on the rings until the rings are covered,

but still have a enough room to move the pages.

Step8:
Make your tags.
Cut your heavy card stock (I used the cover of an old paper pack) So it will fit into your roll snugly, but still be able to slide in and out. My measurements were 2 1/4" x 5". Then cut coordinating paper for both sides. Glue the paper on. Punch a hole in the to of tag, add eyelet if you wish. Thread ribbon through that hole and tie. I rounded the corners of my tag. (optional)

Add anything you wish to this tag.

*Note you can use premade tags also.

The tag book in this tutorial was made for the Christmas fudge poem.
In the other 2 pockets I put two full size candy bars with a ribbon around them. The poem is below.

The possibilities of these books are endless.

Examples:
Pictures: all three rolls have tags place a picture on one side of tag and then some journaling on the other. What a way to make grandma smile.

Feeling Ill: I used one tag and then teabags and cough drops in the other two rolls.

New Home: I used tag for a "to and from" and the other 2 tags I put pockets for gift certificates.
The possibilities are endless!!!

Christmas Fudge Poem
Written by anonymous
Dashing from the malls
With groceries yet to buy,
Workshops, kids & housekeeping,
Life's so crazy! Why?

Bells on our telephone ring,
The machine will take the call,
We have no time for family or friends,
It drives us up the wall.

How are you? How's your life?
We really want to know.
Hope you're ready for Christmas,
Now maybe it will snow.

A day or two ago,
We thought we'd make a treat,
For all our special friends--
A Christmas Gift to eat!

Our intentions were top notch,
But our schedules would not budge,
Hence, here's this year's addition of homemade
CHRISTMAS FUDGE!
